Vito and Erminia have two children. As a young man, Vito trained with the Assemblies of God Church in Rome.
He then moved to Santa Elisabetta, a small town in Sicily, to become the pastor of a Pentecostal church. In 1994, six members of the Pentecostal church in Santa Elisabetta formed an independent church and Vito became their pastor.
Vito and Erminia joined EMF in 2001. In recent years, the church has been strengthened by the arrival of many Nigerian refugees. Vito writes: ‘I am very, very, very optimistic. There is a solid foundation in the church. I believe that over the next ten years, we can build even more for the glory of God.’
